time flies

I know, I’ve been missing in action here for quite a while.
That’s because I’ve been busy (nay, overwhelmed) with a variety of professional commitments:

  • the summer semester of my online course for new/wannabe school librarians;
  • getting the AASL blog up and running;
  • building a toolbar of useful resources for Cybersmart.org;
  • consulting on a new and exciting project for ABC-Clio,

and assorted personal kafuffles, like trying to figure out how to use my new Treo.

Tomorrow, however, begins another excellent adventure as Himself and I fly to Alaska for 2 weeks.   We land in Anchorage, then plan to spend a few days exploring the Kenai peninsula before heading back to Anchorage where I will be doing workshops for the Alaska Association of School Librarians.  When my ‘work’ is finished we plan to drive up to Denali National Park for a few more days of wilderness viewing.

I’ll be keeping a photolog of our travels at http://dayuchts.blogspot.com
